Who are you and why should I believe what you say on this website?  I'm attorney Phil Gibbons, and at Gibbons Legal Group, P.C., your Indianapolis employment law cases and SSDI claims are our first priority.  I have practiced law in Indiana for almost two decades.  My law firm represents workers who have experienced unlawful discrimination, retaliation or termination in the workplace.  A large part of my practice is spent assisting employees in recovering unpaid overtime, minimum wages and other types of unpaid wage issues, such as commissions, vacation pay and severance.  I also assist individuals in obtaining Social Security Disability Insurance benefits.

I began my career as a defense lawyer at one of Indiana's largest law firms, representing employers.  After a while, I found that I didn't want to defend the people who were wronging honest workers—and switched sides to become a plaintiff lawyer and represent employees.  Because of this, I have a distinct advantage in knowing how and why your employer may have been cheating you out of your wages.  In 2010, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a type of blood cancer.  Today, the cancer is in full remission.  As a result of my experience with cancer, I expanded my practice to include SSDI benefits.  I know firsthand how it feels to be diagnosed with a life-threatening illness that could result in no longer being able to work and earn an income for my family.
